Born John Paul Jalwan, Danveri is an independent artist based in Beirut, the capital of Lebanon.
At the age of 16 he formed his first rock band called Rockroach. In 2006, Danveri graduated as a Computer Engineer but he decided right away to dedicate his life to music. The same year, he started working as a Film Music Composer and Sound Designer at Audiotakes Sound Studios and attended the School of Musicology. Since 2010, Danveri teaches History of Music and Sound Design at Antonine Univeristy, The American University of Technology and AKU in Lebanon.
In 2008 he started working on his first concept album - with Danveri as nickname - entitled “She’s All Naked”, based on the song with the same name. On this album, Danveri performs all instruments and vocals. However guest vocalists Maya Aramooni and Elie Asmar appear on two tracks. The lyrics are sarcastic with social criticism and the music is upbeat and joyful.
The song “She’s all naked” had hit the charts on radio stations in Lebanon including NRJ and Melody FM back in 2008.
The same year, Danveri wrote “Dead People Never Complain”, an anti-drug song that was released on the “In Your Hands” album, an anti-drug project promoted by Oum El Nour Organization and subsidized by the European Union.
By the end of 2014, Danveri released a song entitled “Sheik Your Belly”, along with a music video for it. The song was played on NRJ Lebanon and Sawt El Ghad and the music video on NRJ Hits TV. A few month later, a music video for “Dead People Never Complain” was also released, and both videos are now available on Youtube.
It took Danveri a long time before he decided to release his first album, for he was all the time running through the mix over and over again. Today he proudly declares he’s satisfied with it and Danveri’s first album “She’s All Naked” will be released on June 25, 2015.
Today Danveri is the owner of “Waveroot”, a recording studio where he produces songs and albums for various artists, and also composes music and does sound design for movies, documentaries, theatrical plays, and advertisings.
