Danveri have just released the music video for the anti-drug song “Dead People Never Complain” and is available now on Youtube! The film was directed by Ghina Abboud.
Dead People Never Complain was previously written for a drug-prevention campaign supported by “Oum El Nour” Organization and was subsidized by the European Union in collaboration with the Office of Minister of State for Administrative Reforms and the Ministry of Social Affairs in Lebanon. The song was released within a various-artists album called “In Your Hands”. A few months ago, Danveri decided to shoot a music video for the song.
The song tells the story of a drug dealer trying to convince people around him to buy drugs from him, but at some point, in his beautifully conceived marketing style, some negative aspects of the drugs slip out of his mouth. For the rest, find out for yourself… and enjoy!

Sheik your belly, new song by Danveri is finally out in stores along with a Music Video!
Check it out now on iTunes and Youtube!
The Music Video was Directed by Samer Boustany along with Director of Photography Martine Daher, Art Director Walid Saliba, and was edited and produced by Patricia Heneine.
"Sheik Your Belly is about people who can get anything they want without raising the little finger, says Danveri, and that's the case of most of our political leaders".
The song, written and arranged by Danveri features guest singer Elie Asmar who sings the Arabic part.
"The whole experience was amazing, says Danveri. I really enjoyed working with Samer [Boustany] and all the production team. We filmed the music video in two intensive days and I don't deny it was a bit stressful. But when the concept is that funny, you can't help but laugh all the time. I think it was particularly exhausting for Joseph [Açaf] who played the role of the Sheik and had to appear seated all the time and in all the scenes. But this professional actor and comedian is professional in the true sense of the word and was always spreading positive vibes all around him and making us laugh".
Danveri is currently rehearsing with the band and getting ready to go out on stage and perform live.
Band members are Karim Moughabghab on Guitar, Halim Kareh on Bass and Sami Tohmé on Drums.
“It is a very nice experience to make the transition from the initial digital recording of the songs to actually practicing them as a band in order to perform live”, says Sami Tohmé, Danveri’s Drummer”. “These particular songs do not require a lot of technical skills, but what’s very fun about them is simply having fun while playing them".
He also adds: “Danveri songs are captivating and catchy. You only need to hear any of the songs once and you automatically start to sing it in your head. At first sight, the experience seems to be about just enjoying funny songs and singing them out loud, but in fact, while you’re doing this you’re bringing up issues from everyday life and describing them in a very sarcastic way”.

In the meantime Danveri is finalizing the mix and master for the upcoming album “She’s All Naked” at Waveroot Studios.
“It took me a long time before I decided to release the album for I was running over and over the mix again, says Danveri, but now I’m totally convinced with the result”.
She's All Naked is a concept album about people who are uncomfortable with themselves and look fake. The topic is portrayed in a very sarcastic way with upbeat and positive-sounding songs. The album will include 11 original songs written, arranged and performed by Danveri along with guest singers Elie Asmar and Maya Aramooni ; and Voice Over Artist Amy Khouri.
The songs were recorded at Audiotakes Studios and Waveroot Studios and now the mix is being finalized.
On the album, Danveri performs all instruments including guitars, keyboards, bass and drums, as well as Danveri’s beloved instrument… the ukulele. Some rare instruments such as the otamatone and the kazoo also appear on some tracks granting them with a particular and unique sound.
Recently, Danveri is also rehearsing with musicians and looking forward to perform live right after the release of the album.
"The songs are arranged in a way they can easily fit into a rock show and we’re looking very much forward to go out on stage", says Danveri.
Whether it’s the classical music, jazz, oriental music or film music, Danveri is in his element. He produces music for various artists of different musical genres and composes music for films, documentaries, theatrical plays and ads. However, “above all, I’m a rocker” he says ; and the rock influence is very much present in this upcoming album.
There is no exact release date mentioned yet, but the album is expected to be out around February 2015.
